I think that her parents weren't there to comfort her after the wedding because everyone would have been rushed from the room for "safety" (to cover up the animal stampede and any altercation with Elphaba being in the building) - and I doubt the guards would let anyone back in including her parents- they have a very thin veil over their propaganda and not only are Glinda's parents close and protective of their daughter but they also have money and influence (of the upper uplands) so it would be extra dangerous for them to get too close to the smoke and mirrors and I'm sure Glinda played along as to not have to lie to Mommsy and Popsicle

I feel like, the way Glinda was so sort of "stick with the rules and oppression" was learnt from her parents, very stick to the status quo type people. and I feel like as soon as Glinda started drifting away from that which I feel like was not long after the wedding their relationship would probably suffer. I do hope they rekindle after it all though.

I assume two theories, they had an interaction off camera, or the adults of Oz are just not really the best role models. And her parents are a prime example of how the adults think in OZ.
