@itse007: From struggling in chemistry at 18 to the International Nursing Honor Society (Sigma) 🌟 Balancing life as a full-time mother, a full-time employee, and a graduate Nurse Practitioner student has been challenging. I have faced so much adversity, late nights, early mornings and moments where I wasn’t sure how it would all get done. But giving up was never an option. To be recognized for academic excellence in graduate school while juggling it all is a milestone I will cherish forever. Above all, I am so incredibly proud to show my son what is possible with hard work and dedication. I want him to know that no matter how heavy the load gets, you can achieve your wildest dreams if you don't quit. It feels like just yesterday my grandmother was telling every hospice nurse who came to the house that I was going to be a nurse. I remember telling her, "Stop telling the nurses I’m going to be a nurse, chemistry is too hard and I think I’m going to fail!" My grandmother just looked at me and said, "Girl, don’t worry about it, I already prayed you through." Now, 24 years later, my grandmother's prayer is still carrying me through. ❤️ And I can hear my mother's voice echoing in my heart saying, "I’m so proud of you!" This is proof that with hard work, resilience, and faith, we can overcome any obstacle. ✨🩺🏥 I also want to thank everyone for helping my last post go viral.
