@thealesandrarodriguez: We spend so much time talking about whether children have earned our trust. But how much time do we spend examining whether we’ve earned theirs? Can they tell us something uncomfortable without fearing humiliation? Can they disagree without being punished? Can they make mistakes without losing access to connection? Can they tell us they’re struggling without immediately becoming a problem to fix? Trust is relational. It moves in both directions. And children are paying attention to how we handle their vulnerability. What did the adults in your life do that made you trust—or stop trusting—them? #ParentChildTrust #NonCoerciveParenting #ConnectedParenting #Childism #CollaborativeParenting
