🚨😳 HOUSE HELP ALLEGEDLY PUTS RAT POISON IN FOOD OF HER EMPLOYER’S 2-YEAR-OLD SON LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER EMPLOYMENT! Omo! 😳💔 How can someone enter a home as a helper and allegedly do something this dangerous barely 24 hours after being employed? According to reports shared by the child’s aunt, the house help allegedly mixed rat poison into the noodles prepared for her employer’s two-year-old son and sprinkled the remaining substance into the family’s pot of stew. The report further claims that when the young woman was questioned, she gave different explanations, allegedly claiming at one point that her grandmother had appeared to her in a dream and instructed her to poison the food. This is a deeply disturbing allegation, especially because a two-year-old child depends entirely on adults for protection. Thankfully, the full circumstances of the incident still need to be established, and the allegations should be treated with care until verified. ⚠️ PARENTS, PLEASE BE VIGILANT! While many domestic workers are trustworthy and hardworking, it is important to take reasonable precautions when bringing someone new into your home. Ensure proper screening, pay attention to unusual behaviour, and keep dangerous substances securely stored away from children and food. If poisoning is suspected, seek emergency medical attention immediately. Do not wait for symptoms to appear. 💔 QUESTION OF THE DAY: With incidents like this being reported, how can parents better protect their children while employing domestic workers?
