Imagine having staff right there and they’re completely ignoring you. Could you imagine your own father who requires total care being treated like that? It’s absolutely disgusting! I always tell people, if you have a parent or loved one in a nursing home, visit them as often as possible. Check their skin, pay attention to how they’re being cared for, and ask questions! I’ve seen patients come into the hospital with pressure ulcers so atrocious you can literally see down to the bone. And I’m not making this about race or nationality. I don’t care if you’re African, Latino, Indian, or whatever. Yes, I understand these facilities are understaffed and the workers are overworked, but that is NO excuse for neglect! You took on the responsibility of caring for these patients, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion. It’s ridiculous!

stupid video, that's the reason a lot of people see nursing as a challenging career because some residents family members attitudes are terrible, nursing is the most challenging field, if you guys think it is easy go to school and become a nurse and see if u will not think of leaving the field after working just for a few months
