At what point is this a program issue tho? I mean Lane Kiffin worked at Ole Miss and is yet to be determined at LSU, but looks promising. Sark has had Texas in the national title picture for years, and Lincoln did pretty well at OU. What sport is USC still elite at? I think they need a program shake up because they used to be powerhouses in football, baseball, and were in the mix for many years in basketball. Basketball is probably their most promising sport at this point in time

Kiffin worked pretty well considering he inherited a USC team handcuffed by sanctions and loss of scholarships. They were competitive and fun to watch during his era.

The West Coast teams have struggled when traveling across 2-3 time zones to play (so have the East Coast teams). Mega conferences are dumb.
