yeah, as an indigenous person from the US/canada, whenever i’ve had someone read my chart- the aspect of my ethnicity and all that it speaks to in my experience as an individual is glaringly left out, so the readings end up falling flat for me

Race in astrology is so important, I think about this topic often. When looking at our charts it literally asks for the coordinates of where we were born. I could have the same exact birthday and time of birth as someone from Central America but things will obviously be very different because I was born and raised in DC. The lessons may differ, the patterns will differ, everything would be the same but still so different.

this is so real for me as a Gen Z with pluto in my sag 4th house. I know that with that placement I’m meant to break through trauma within my family and break generational patterns. I also have saturn in my cancer 11th house, so that’s just more of that energy amplified. finding a community always been difficult for me growing up around mostly non-black people. I’ve found that I find true refugee among POCs in my life. Also my chiron in aquarius has really tied to my blackness, especially growing up as a black sheep (no pun intended) in my early school environments where I was one of the only black kids and i seldom felt like I fit in. it really all ties together when you look at it from the lens of race.
