Haha so true. I took my parents to their doctor’s appointment and I told them, do not tell them what I do. First thing my mom said to the receptionist is is “my son is a ER doctor”. 🤦♂️

Told my mom not to mention I'm a nurse... first things she blurts outta her mouth is that I'm a doctor! Couldn't even tell the truth! I looked her doctor dead in the eyes and said "now you see why we all think she has dementia"

I'm a midwife and women's health NP and I tried to pretend I knew absolutely nothing when I had my knee surgery, and then as I was being discharged the nurse says: "So what do you do here? We have to break the glass to get into your chart." 😂😂😂

My toxic trait is telling my Doctor husband that I need to call my primary care doctor and get his opinion before I believe his medical advice. It drives him batshit crazy and now he hates my primary care doctor that he hasn’t even met 😂😂😂

The only time I mentioned my pharmacist husband was when a telehealth dr wouldn’t prescribe me scopolamine patch before my vacation bc he’s never seen me before after I mentioned it he gave me the green light😂
