I also want to add something that I haven't heard anybody say. the Packers were doing a better job of running the football as the game went on. both of their running backs had their longest runs of the game in the fourth quarter.

Just because it didn’t work out doesn’t mean it was the wrong decision. If anything is to blame about the decision it’s the play call. Add some creativity. Also I don’t think the roughing was a bad call. You can clearly see the defenders helmet make contact with Goff’s helmet before the defender even gets his arms wrapped around him. This isn’t anything that is unusual or that they haven’t called. This is just my personal belief about the type of person goff is, but he wouldn’t point down the field in confidence if he knew it wasn’t for sure a roughing.
