@hiphopofthe90s: Dr. Dre really told Snoop Dogg, “I didn’t believe you.” 😭🔥 Snoop has explained that Dre will ask him to repeat even a single word if the energy isn’t right. Dre also demonstrates lines himself, showing him the pronunciation and emphasis he wants. Snoop welcomes that direction: “I love to be produced. I love to be challenged.” He’s explained that he wants his voice treated as an instrument within the music, with Dre helping shape how it fits into the song. The sessions for Snoop’s 2024 album began with Dre inviting him over to make a couple of songs. That became a full album. Snoop joked that Dre kept calling to ask for “two more days” after initially saying the project would take two weeks. Their working relationship goes back to Snoop’s 1993 debut, which Dre produced. Snoop has described returning to record with him as becoming a student again and being willing to take direction, even after decades of making records. Who’s your favorite rapper and producer duo? 🤔⁉️ 🎥: @COMPLEX @Snoop Dogg #rap #hiphop #rapmusic #hiphopmusic
