I make a good 10-13k a month . I drive a cash 09 Acura . My apartment rent is 1600 but it’s big and has beautiful character to it . I set it up beautifully . My monthly bills are so low and it gives me an extra sense of security and freedom to do as I please , save and set myself and kids up for freedom . I been there done that with living above my means . I’m never doing that again .

If you plan on being in the same town/same place for over 10 years or more then please stop making your landlord rich. Equity in the home over time is what the goal is. Rentals should be short term solution until you figure out where you want to be. Look up on Zillow how much someone purchased their home for and how much they are selling it for.. do your own research for your situation.
