Yes, my baby loves her hands. But it wakes her up more than it does to “self soothe”. Once she gets going on them, she wakes up more and more instead of going back to sleep. Am I the only one?

literally had a whole argument on another post because i said babies start to self soothe around this time specifically with their hands, sucking on them ect. and people said babies do not have any ability to self soothe at all. so thank you for proving me right. 😅

My baby starts to fuss and immediately brings her hands to her face, waking herself up. If I don’t swallow her, she wakes herself up every half hour.

I would love to transition him out of his swaddle but unfortunately if he isn't tucked up super tight he gets mad and thrashes his body around keeping himself up and making him more mad. 😭

We tried to unswaddle for a week and he went from sleeping in 4-5 hr stretches to waking up every 20 mins throughout the night EVERY night that week. It never got better🥹

My baby just turned 3 months and rolls from back to belly and belly to back. Tried the Merlin suit last night and she slept awful. Any other sleep sacks that might be better?

I need to transition baby to crib and also out of swaddle soon, she’s 9 weeks. Would you do crib first or swaddle first? Or just pull the bandaid off and both at the same time?

What if my baby is startling themselves so bad as they are falling asleep? The only thing that helps is the swaddle.

I was told not to let mine self soothe with his hands cause it's easier to take away a binkie or ect when it comes time but you can't take away hands, I'm not sure what to listen to

My baby has wanted to sleep with his arms out of the swaddle since he was like a month old, so when our pediatrician said no more swaddling at 2 months, we had no problem with switching him to just footy pajamas
