Propranolol is truly a miracle drug. when I say I have performance anxiety, I mean I've fainted in front of class, I've run out of class in the middle of a presentation, and I've voluntarily failed a class for refusing to do the oral final. I would have rather DIED, genuinely died, than speak in front of people. first time taking propranolol - because it was that or drop out of grad school - and for the first time in my life, I could stand up there without violently, shaking, sweating, and crying. I couldn't believe it. IDGAF if it's a crutch, it's a crutch that allows me to live life like a normal person.
