@pixiedust7979: Meet Dumpling! Dumpling is just 7 months old, weighs 44 pounds, and is one of the many dogs who were dumped out in Wilmer, left to fend for themselves. This poor girl was just a baby, trying to survive on her own, and unfortunately, she wasn’t doing very well. Thankfully, some incredible friends of the rescue found her and immediately realized something was terribly wrong. Her belly was completely distended and bloated, and she clearly needed help. When we got her to the vet, we discovered that this poor baby was absolutely FILLED with worms and parasites. She had been suffering for quite some time, all while trying to survive on the streets. I cannot imagine how miserable she must have felt, especially being so young. Dumpling has received all the veterinary care she needed, is now parasite-free, fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready to find her forever family! Let me tell you, this girl is an absolute DOLL! Dumpling is just the sweetest, happiest little thing. She absolutely LOVES other dogs and could spend all day playing with her furry friends! She also adores people and is incredibly affectionate. Wherever you go, Dumpling wants to go too! She’s perfectly happy following you around the house, hanging out with you, and soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Thanks to her wonderful foster, Dumpling is already potty trained, crate trained, and working on learning her basic commands! She’s still a puppy, so she’s learning new things every day, but she’s doing wonderfully! It’s hard to believe that this happy, playful little girl was once so sick and struggling to survive on her own. Seeing how far she’s come makes our hearts so happy. Now all Dumpling needs is a family of her very own! She’s had more than enough hardship in her short life, and we’d love nothing more than to see her spoiled rotten and loved for the rest of her days.
