#ROGRICE yeah, rogrice version 😈 (my fans btw) Lord of the Flies is the 1954 debut novel of British author William Golding. The plot concerns a group of prepubescent British boys who are stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempts to govern themselves that lead to a descent into savagery. The novel's themes include morality, leadership, and the tension between civility and chaos. Rogrice is a ship from Lord of the Flies built around one of the more subtle dynamics between the boys on the island. Both of them become part of Jack's tribe, but they couldn't be more different in the way they respond to the world around them. Maurice is loud, playful, social, and often follows the others rather than trying to stand above them. He enjoys the excitement of the island and the freedom it gives them, but there is still a part of him that remembers the rules and the world they came from. Roger, on the other hand, is quiet, intimidating, and increasingly detached from the boundaries that once kept him from hurting others. He doesn't need to be the loudest person in the group — he is frightening precisely because he doesn't seem to need anyone's approval. And that's what makes their dynamic interesting. Maurice is the kind of person who can blend into a group, joke around, and make things feel normal, while Roger gradually becomes someone who exists outside those limits. Maurice represents the last traces of ordinary childhood that still remain in the group, while Roger represents what happens when those limits completely disappear. They are both close to Jack's group, both participate in the life of the tribe, and both experience the transformation of the boys on the island — but they react to it in very different ways. Rogrice has that perfect “sunshine and darkness” contrast: one is expressive and social, the other is quiet and unsettling. One still seems connected to the person he was before the island, while the other becomes more and more comfortable with the person the island allows him to become. #rogrice #rogricelordoftheflies #roger #maurice #mauricelotf #rogerlotf
