Stabbed but not gone, IRI will be extra focused on survival by all means. Supporting iranian people will now need a lot more soft actions and for much longer, which DOGE cuts made much more difficult if not impossible. USG also will need allies, which the random ongoing attacks on allies has hurt. I don’t think a good play remains on the table. USG will most probably increase pressure and hope for the best. Lots of bystanders will suffer.
