Nanaimo bars, but make them raw vegan! 😍🍫 These beauties were part of our Classics to Raw class inside the Raw Dessert Creators Club, and I have a little behind-the-scenes story to share! When I first started developing this recipe, I honestly thought it would be a one-and-done. Well… I was wrong! 😂 It took a few rounds of recipe testing to get the textures and flavors just right. I really wanted to pay homage to the traditional Nanaimo bar while creating a completely raw vegan version. That meant getting the coconut, walnut, and chocolate base just right, creating that creamy custard layer, and finishing everything with a silky chocolate ganache. And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little marble technique to make them extra beautiful! ✨ This is one of the things I love most about recipe development. Sometimes what seems simple takes a little more experimenting, but that’s where so much of the learning happens. And I’m so happy with how these turned out! 🤍 Want to learn how to make these beautiful raw vegan Nanaimo bars? Link in my bio to the Raw Dessert Creators Club, where you can watch the full Classics to Raw class! 💚 #nanaimobars #rawdessert #vegannanaimobars #vegandessert #rawpastry
