I wore mine religiously from 14-35 until I had my first baby. Stopped. Decided to start again even though it did nottttt fit anymore. Just kept it in a little bit each night until it fit again 😬😬😬 hey ooohhh it fits great now!

I literally wore my retainer religiously until I was 21 and my teeth still shifted when I forgot it at college over winter break and it never fit again. the conspiracy theory I 100% believe is that the braces we got were never meant to last so we'd all grow up and get Invisalign

I accidentally threw mine away at lunch in high school and my parents wouldn’t even consider replacing it. Now I’m 36 and about to spend $6k+ on Invisalign because my teeth have moved so much that it shifted my jaw and I’m in constant pain 😭

this happened to me. my retainers can still go over my teeth so i tried and tried to move my teeth back with the retainers but, OUCH!. plus i was scared if i kept doing that, then all my teeth would fall out so... yea, imma just go ahead and get braces again... as an adult.
