I sell and install water purification systems for a living and one piece of advice is instead of adding minerals back into the water your grab a remineralizing cartridge that will do it for you whenever you open that tap they usually bring the ph up to around 8.2 to 9.5 depending what you get hope this helps

I’m not trying to be negative.. but you should have installed the filters downstairs if possible. Changing those filters will be a pain. Also you should have bought a system that has standard replacement filters with filter bowls. Those ones you have a likely 5 times more expensive.

I wonder if that would help with my house. I'm in western Canada and my city of 10 thousand people we've been on boil water for years. they only told us dont use it. symptoms of fever,sweat, diarrhea etc.. constantly feeling sick my cities water.

Also, I don’t know if this will help anybody but do not drink RO water before eating cereal. I know that sounds weird but I’ve done that and it made my milk taste weird. we currently use an RO system.
