@4everlostinaspiderweb: it is the same circle of occourences, over and over, because i cannot help but love for more than the other. their love i find is never as pure as mine. the amount of time it takes me to move on can sometimes be the same length as a whole relationship, it is my definition of hell #fyp #MentalHealth #Love #relatable #ex

BRO SPLIT UPDATE — GOING INTO WEEK 3 I’m actually kicking myself in the ass for ever getting away from this style of training. After years of experimenting with different training frequencies, splits and approaches, I finally went back to what worked for me for decades: THE BRO SPLIT. One body part. One day. Train it hard. Give it everything. Then leave it alone and let it recover. I’m going into my third week, and the difference has been pretty damn obvious. My bodyweight has stayed basically the same, but my body composition is already changing. My strength is going UP. My pumps are better. My appetite is UP. My sleep is better. My recovery feels better. And most importantly, I actually feel excited to train every day again. Everything is moving in the right direction. And it makes me wonder why the hell I ever stopped training this way five years ago. Sometimes we get so caught up trying to improve what we’re doing that we walk away from the very thing that was working. More frequency. More volume. More complicated splits. More science. More optimization. Sometimes MORE isn’t better. For me, hammering one body part, creating as much stimulation as I can, feeding it, recovering and not touching it again until the following week is working incredibly well. And at 60 years old, recovery isn’t something I ignore anymore. Maybe the answer wasn’t figuring out how to train everything more often. Maybe the answer was TRAIN IT HARDER AND RECOVER LONGER. Three weeks in. Strength up. Appetite up. Sleep better. Body composition improving. Bodyweight basically unchanged. I’m not changing a damn thing. The bro split is staying.
