What makes it worse is that Cubarsi was actually the favorite for this award after the World Cup, then Yamal did a bunch of interviews trying to win himself the begging d’or. It didn’t work so they gave him the Kopa trophy as a result. Completely snubbing Cubarsi

Lamine wasn’t even better than cubarsi im not gonna lie. Maybe in Laliga but wc cubarsi was arguably spains most important/best player. And was far more impressive in big games

They have to do it like the Golden Boy award and limit how many times one person can win it, they’ll most likely add a rule next season that you max out by winning 2 times after that you’re ineligible to compete for it.
