A successful government coverup seems like the least plausible hypothesis.

The apparent silence is merely a symptom of chronological myopia ⏳🧬, as we fail to realize that Earth is an outlier of early-onset abiogenesis in a universe that will support star-formation for trillions of years 🪐. We are projecting an expectation of a crowded galaxy onto a cosmos that has barely begun its peak habitability epoch 🌠✨. Humanity isn't a late newcomer 🛸; we are the unwitting vanguard and the primordial baseline for the future interstellar medium 👑🛰️🐈⬛🪞💨🌴🗿

It’s a time scale issue. Alien could have existed a million/billion years ago & we’d have no way of ever knowing

11. Advanced alien species have a governing set of rules against interfering with early civilizations until they are "ready".

I have always liked the Star Trek explaination: zero contact until we independently create the FTL drive. The problem I have with the predator species hypothesis: what could they possibly want that they can’t get from 1T unpopulated planets? Honestly, why would they bother? Either way, what a terribly lonely place this universe would be if we were the only ones in it.

Just a regular guy here. I saw a ufo land in a river i was fishing in and an alien exited. I was only around 50 feet away. i could not move as I was paralyzed with fear. people may think they want to see an alien, but trust me, you don't. It did not even acknowledge me. I am certain that I was just another creature of earth to it. it returned to its ship and shut off into the atmosphere and then into outer space. definitely faster than light travel
