yeah as a local, these waves have killed way more people than they should've. I just can't understand not respecting nature and keeping your distance. especially in a country where you're not familiar with it. you definitely don't see the locals that close to the waves

This is like where I live we have a place called Peggy’s Cove, it doesn’t matter how many signs they have and warnings saying not to walk on the black rocks because they are slippery and the waves will get you and take you into the ocean with no way of getting out as they slam you against the rocks 💀you and people still walk on the black rocks
