That would be dope, if Karen let Rick Caruso make all her policy decisions behind the scenes, let him run everything and she just shows up to take credit and do the photo-op. The whole City of L.A. would look like The Grove/The Americana. And let's not forget, his shopping center in the Pacific Palisades was the only thing left standing, so everyones home's would be safe when we have a fire. Rick had originally said, you place the fire department in areas that have dry brush during fire season so that they can quickly respond. Her (Karen) great strategy was to leave the country and not care.

I believe she has a vision for this city, listens to residents, and is committed to putting the needs of Los Angeles residents first. No candidate is perfect. But I believe Mayor Bass has shown us that our needs have not been her first priority. What gets funded, what services residents receive, and what results follow matter more than celebrity support or prominent endorsements. Los Angeles residents, not celebrities or political insiders, decide this election. We were the ones left asking, “Where is our Mayor?” I believe I’ve found the answer. Her name is Nithya Raman.
