I'm not going to read all the comments instead I'm going to share an experience several years ago when I was young and I was getting to know God I received a message from God where God said I like when you expect to hear from me that's what God told me I like when you expect to hear from me thank you for reminding me

No, No, No! You're misrepresenting what He said. You're reading it wrong! There would be a period. I am separating the two thoughts so you can see what He was actually saying. (Ask me) (of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command) (ye me.) (Ask me - ye me) He's saying Ask me, you ask me. (of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command)

That is God asking about the audacity of the created daring to demand of their maker. It is a rebuke and a scoff at our audacity...

I used to get every single prayer answered by being humble just through the love I had for him . I'm not so close now but I couldn't command him to do anything for me I love him too much

Would you command your father or a person in authority over you? if you wouldn't, why would you think it's ok to "Command" God?

Command isn't bossing God around like a brat. The centurion said I am a man under authority. You command from under His authority, and Jesus called that great faith.

I want to share this: when I left my relationship and relocated for increase in my career, I was tired of applying to jobs & being rejected. One day, I stood in my living room and I told God, “I’m not doing another app. YOU WILL bring a job to me”. Less than 24hrs and a job I applied to in July of 2023 called. That day was March 2024.
