If everything is God’s plan, how does freewill exist? If I smoke 100 opps, does that mean God wanted me to smoke 100 opps? 🤔

There’s an MRI study mentioned in a book I can post that examined Buddhists and religious individuals during prayer and meditation. Afterward, they reported similar experiences of enlightenment, oneness with others, and connection with the universe. But none of that demonstrated healing from illnesses. You can experience similar psychological effects through meditation or reading spiritual or philosophical books. So, in a sense praying is pretty much useless when it comes to healing.

No no cause this is one of the things that made me agnostic, like wdym “it’s all part of gods plan” but yet we’re supposed to have free will, those two DIRECTLY contradict eachother

This seems smart until you apply .1 second of critical thought and realize God's omniscience would take into account our prayer and willingness to seek him. He already knew what you'd pray for beforehand

It’s free will when it’s convenient and it’s “God plan” when it’s convenient. I knew at 9 years old none of this mess made any logical sense. Sound very much man made to me.
