@midlifemetabolichealth: We talk so much about **what** we eat. But there’s another question that doesn’t get nearly as much attention: **When do you stop eating for the day?** I’ve known for a long time that late-night eating isn’t a habit I want to make a regular part of my life. What caught my attention about this cardiologist’s list was the **why behind these particular evening habits.** Our bodies aren’t doing the exact same thing at 10 p.m. that they’re doing at 10 a.m. There’s a connection between **meal timing, metabolism, sleep, recovery and heart health** that I think is worth understanding. That’s why I try not to eat late, and why I don’t snack after dinner. Not because I’m trying to follow a bunch of rigid rules. I’d rather understand **why** a habit may be helpful—or how it might work against us—and then make intentional choices from there. And this is just the **first of three evening habits** I’m sharing from his list. **Wait until you hear #2… 👀** Would giving up your after-dinner snack be easy for you—or really difficult? #HeartHealth #MetabolicHealth #HealthyHabits #SleepHealth

I stop eating b/f 6 pm. Don’t start till 10 AM. Intermittent fasting. Good for your body. I find it very doable. Guess cause I was doing this b/f someone put a name to it. 🇨🇦
