Not to mention, if you listen to what those women are saying about voting, obligation is not a motivation, value add is.

Every time y’all bring up the 2024 Election and Palestine, I often think about what has improved and was voting 3rd party or not voting at all worth it? Has the revolution started?

and I bet these are the same ones to say "I as a Black woman am tired of doing everything, I'm sitting back." Cuz voting is considered the extent of doing political work 😂.

Sorry to be off topic but TikTok has helped me politically. Learning doesn’t stop because it happens outside of a classroom or starts on social media. Creators on TikTok have really helped my political understanding. I also like getting to see topics dissected through modern culture. Once I stopped taking classes in school related to sociology economics and politics I’m not having some of these discussions as much anymore and TikTok lets me. TikTok gives me different perspectives. I understand there’s a lot of misinformation and oversimplification. There’s something I wouldn’t have been introduced if it wasn’t for TikTok. For example I found your account during the issue with yuval 2 years ago and you opened me to a perspective I didn’t realize and from there I’ve also learned a lot from you. But I also understand this is only my personal anecdotal experience and someone else could have just as easily found a more problematic creator and been influenced by their views for the worse. But to be honest I wouldn’t have become a leftist if it wasn’t for TikTok. Shame me if yall want. Most of my education before TikTok was lowkey influenced through a United States/democrat/center left lens. Obviously I don’t limit my education to TikTok I’m just saying it’s helped me.

I hate the whole I don’t wanna be involved in politics, especially when it is Black people because our entire existence is political if you like it or not like it’s just something you have to do like washing ur hands after u sh*t

You don’t even have to read. You can listen to what the people in power say, and watch what they do, and keep track of how the two relate to each other over time. That would be enough!

I feel like nobody actually listened to what you said. Why is everyone focusing on those three people that were shown at the beginning and think that’s who you are criticizing
