Times Food Bowl Chef Armen wanted to showcase his Armenian culture at the 101 Best Restaurants of LA @latimesevents - celebrating the continued recognition from the @L.A. Times Food for being named one of the best spots in the city. And his team did just that. Chef Armen & the MK team grilled Wagyu steaks on charcoal, oak, & grapevines branches from the Santa Ynez valley, searing & brushing it with Aleppo steeped butter, and then finishing it off with Maldon smoked sea salt. In his eyes, he kept it simple. But the labor of love is all behind-the-scenes with the process. The MK team wanted to celebrate the heritage, the local ingredients, and the city that celebrates this family’s long respected restaurant. And that’s one of many reasons they walked away with 59 on the @The Los Angeles Times Best 101 Restaurants of 2026.
