Hello, I am a born and raised burque OG since 2001😂 may I suggest you buy purified attachments for your water? I’m talking your sinks your showers your faucets, anything, and everything that has running city water through it purify it. ✨✨✨ Albuquerque is known for having what’s called hard water and if you are not used to it, it can be known to cause your skin to break out. Also, I suggest using any lotion that says organic and includes hydrating ingredients put it on your skin that feels most dry irritated.

get a filter for your shower/ showerhead...(the water here is ridiculously harsh/hard)....vacuum often too... helps a bit... rids your house of fine adobe dust

I moved here from the Caribbean 😂😂😂 it'll take a while to adjust. even my hands cracked and peeled from the dryness here. you will learn to love it though when every day is a good hair day 😅 just get yourselves on a good moisturizing routine. idk about oily skin reqs cus that wasnt quite my deal.

It’s a VERY dry climate here … and the high altitude takes getting used to … give it time, stay hydrated and use sunscreen as the UVs are brutal …

This sounds crazy but you may just need a better moisturizer? Your face may be overproducing its own oil to counteract the dryness. And for sure hydrate and get a good sunscreen and wear hats

I’m from humid south Louisiana. I started using castor oil for my skin. I mix it with my lotion. Helps a bunch for me.
