@fluentinlife: A golden retriever named Marshmallow was abandoned by his owner at a gas station. His owner was tired of taking the dog everywhere and decided to leave him behind while going on vacation. Marshmallow waited for his owner to return, but he never came back. Hungry and alone, the dog eventually set off to find him. Along the way, he survived by drinking water from puddles, searching for scraps of food, and sleeping wherever he could find shelter. For nine days, Marshmallow traveled more than 60 miles, searching for the man who had left him behind. Marshmallow finally tracked down his owner at a beach where he was enjoying his vacation. When the man saw his dog, he felt guilty and tried to hug him. But instead of greeting him happily, Marshmallow suddenly bit his owner and walked away. The man needed medical treatment for the bite, while Marshmallow was later taken in by another family who gave him a loving new home.
