@catrescuertr: We received a heartbreaking video of a cat in desperate need of help, and the moment we saw him, we knew there wasn't a second to waste. The poor little guy was panting heavily, unable to move, and clearly in terrible distress. He looked absolutely awful, and we were terrified of what might happen if he didn't receive immediate medical attention. We rushed straight out to rescue him and brought him directly to the emergency vet, where he is currently being stabilized and undergoing diagnostics to determine what is wrong. We have named this sweet boy Gilbert. Right now, we don't know what is causing Gilbert's condition or what his prognosis will be. All we know is that this little guy desperately needs help, and we are going to do everything in our power to give him a fighting chance. Please keep Gilbert in your thoughts. He has a long road ahead of him, and we are hoping with all our hearts that he can pull through. If you're able, please consider donating toward Gilbert's emergency medical bills and care. Every dollar helps us fight for sweet souls like him who have nobody else to turn to. We will update everyone as soon as we know more. The amount we are fundraising is just for initial diagnostics and does not include any future treatments.
