My BIL and SIL were visiting and their baby girl was asleep. They asked me if I wanted to hold her and I told them no, not because i didn’t want to but because if she was content I didn’t want to disturb her. They said I was the first person to say that (she’s a little over two months). It made me so sad that people just want to be in her face all the time.

My mother in law has lost all contact more than once for over stepping boundaries like this 🙄😒 I’m almost due with our 2nd and I told her she has one time to overstep and she’s getting sprayed with Lysol then being gone for good!

The way this gives me flashbacks! The first time I went over to my in laws for dinner after giving birth our son was asleep when we arrived and I said repeatedly please don’t wake him so I can sit and eat my FIL proceeded to shout “hello gorgeous boy” directly in our sons face waking him and resulting in him screaming for 40 minutes before I walked out to the car and said we’re going home. Needless to say I didn’t eat 🙄

sounds like something my sil would do. she asked to come back up to give us more newborn diapers for our daughter. i said no. i had to literally make her accept my no for an answer. and when she didnt get the answer she wanted, she went behind my back to hubby. i dont think he answered her. and unfortunately thats not the worst thing shes done either. i ever get pregnant again, im hiding from her

I was out with my cousin for her first baby check up. I sat with the baby while she filled out paperwork. Some old lady sat down next to me and tried remove the babies blanket and’s tried to touch him.
