A large portion of this is due to the economy. Car prices have skyrocketed, and salaries haven’t. Makes complete sense why less young people are driving.

Driving- I don’t have good enough eye sight to be behind a wheel so not risking anything. Drinking- grew up with a raging alcoholic for a parent so no thanks on drinking. Marriage- seen two failed marriages when I was young and don’t wanna go through the legal process of it . Not says it’s every persons experience some in this generation have similar reason

I feel like when many states got rid of the thing where a parent could basically sign a note saying “I taught my child to drive” and just take the test as is, parents just didn’t prioritize teaching the kid anymore as now they had a bunch of prerequisite stuff to do before they could even take the concept exam to get the permit.

Vid is completely false u think people don’t want to drive of course they do who is going to pay for the cars the car that no 16 year old can afford rn who is going to pay for 700 a month insurance and just to get your license u have to pay like 600 in classes
