This is neither an effective nor a recommended way to increase power. If you're looking for a real improvement in your Honda Navi's performance, it's better to go with proven modifications (such as variator upgrades, a properly matched exhaust, or professional transmission tuning) rather than drilling holes in the original airbox.

make sure your airfilter still fits and seals properly. and FYI cotton/fabric Based air filters do not filter good. Very fine particles make it through it and will wreck the valves and rings and the engine will start to burn oil. Check the oil often. Paper or properlu oiled foam air filters are the way the truth and the light. Oh and Another thing. You should be using Honda HP4M motor oil its specifically made for all the scooter/bikes with the CVTs. its the absolute best oil you can possibly use for those motors. Very high in Molybdenum.

Water inside the airbox will be an issue also air filter will need to replace often due to increased debris in airbox. Just change to mushroom type airfilter and retune the carb

you can also buy another front rim and tire and put it on the back to get a higher top speed takes a little grinding to make it fit but it's an easy mod
