@monicaumunna: We expect people to speak kindly to strangers, treat animals with compassion, and show basic human decency to people they don’t even know. Yet somehow, when it comes to husbands, that same standard becomes negotiable 🙃 We’ve gotten so comfortable justifying unkindness toward men based on whether or not we think they deserve better. But since when did basic human decency become something someone has to earn? Your husband doesn’t have to be perfect for you to be kind. He doesn’t have to get everything right for you to speak to him respectfully! Kindness isn’t a reward for good behavior. It’s a reflection of our own character 🙏🏼 If we can recognize that basic kindness is the bare minimum for a stranger, why would we expect anything less in our marriages?🔥❤️🫡🫶🏼
