I beg people to start understanding your needs and wants. He is so correct about the people just stuck in survival mode. I do did valet parking when i was trying to get to something worth doing. But the one thing i had in my mind, what most people don’t think of is, i was constantly looking for something to progress towards. I wanted to be good at something i enjoyed and that was my ticket to success. I became an asset to people in the conent field because of my skill set, which was photography, that lead me to many different levels. I still love what i do and i am able to earn that extra income besides having a 9-5 and still enjoy life! Do not over complicate things people, stop eating out and ordering Uber Eats, be outside of that. It will make huge changes in your life

He hit the nail on the head. You have to learn to make money just like everything else. Get an Art degree and think you should be able to have what the person that does physical labor for a living has.

someone told me years ago, is it a need or a want. if you can't afford it and it's a want then you really don't need it. once in a while you can do a want. I don't make a lot of money, but I pay off my credit card every month. I have not had a credit card balance in over 30 yrs

Young people today are right to focus on top line cash flow. Don't waste time on P&L, focus on substantial cash flow increase. Don't increase your spending proportionately, best way to live imo - no worries. You can waste hours and hours micromanaging your costs when your real problem is you need to make 30% more money, and that's an easier problem.

It’s a lesson you learn when you really have nothing. You realize what you don’t need and make sure you have the things you do need. I’ve been on unemployment 2 times so I know the struggle.
