Not because you “love drama.” You’re trying to be understood. You explain how something hurt you. You explain why it affected you. You explain what you needed. You explain it again… and again… and again. And somehow, every attempt to communicate gets turned into an argument. “You’re fighting.” “You’re trying to argue.” “You always create drama.” No. I’m trying to get you to listen. There’s a huge difference between wanting to fight and desperately wanting someone you love to understand why you’re hurting. But eventually, something inside you gets tired. You stop explaining. You stop defending yourself. You stop trying to make people see your heart. You stop correcting the way they misunderstand you. Not because it stopped hurting. Because you finally realized you can’t force someone to understand something they’ve already decided not to hear. And sometimes silence isn’t giving up.
