I’m a visual person and the way it makes sense to me is support and resistance are just areas where price reaches and pauses to decide what it needs to do next. Supply and demands are places where price hits and somebody freaks out and rushes in and literally start piling cash on to it to make it go back up or down. Typically supply and demand zones normally include longer than usual candles
