@upnorthlivenews: The inmate who escaped the Crawford County Jail Monday, officers say, escaped through a door that was propped open. In a press conference, Sheriff Ryan Swope of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said the inmate, Casey Jo Helsel, escaped through a door that was left propped open. According to the sheriff’s office, the door is used by those working for and with the jail to take items inside and outside the facility. The sheriff’s office does not believe that the individual who left the door open did so to help Helsel escape. After the search ensued, Swope said Michigan State Police Aviation used a FLIR camera to find the inmate, who was located in the woods behind the Grayling Country Club. #jailbreak #inmateescape #crimetok #crimenews #fyp
