Your body changes, don’t be mean to yourself, or mad at yourself. The fact that you’re speaking about it will help others realise they are not alone. Take deep breaths and just get through the day.

Your hormones aren’t “normals” for two YEARS after you give birth. Give yourself grace, we’re here for YOU, whatever that means right now ❤️

This is the exact slump that I’m in, minus the ppd. I’ve never been a depressed person and the past 3-4 months everything feels so hard, some things are impossible. The depression was brought on from health issues and having doctors constantly dismiss my symptoms (heart, chest, neurological, memory issues at the age of 47). Now that I’ve fallen into depression from symptoms that my doctors kept dismissing, they have turned around and blamed these symptoms on depression and won’t give me the time of day! Dude! I these symptoms started several months before depression hit!

It's okay to take a break and take time to self care. Your doctor will help balance out your medication or a new medication because it's a constant adjusting. They also have therapy that's charged on a sliding scale you could look into, if you want.

Posting this is incredible. I hid my PPD from everyone and it was the worst decision. Crossing my fingers your village shows up for you. I know therapy is expensive but it’s so worth it. If you have insurance websites like rula or headway might have inexpensive sessions! Be gentle with yourself.
