What we all shared is slowly being lost.....those who see are crippled in letting go....those who will never see it will one day forget.....giving the darkness room to breath only brings the enlightenment closer. Love what loves u and always remain true.

Your dad must have been one of the few rich kids around, with a set of tv at home. I watched what they called biscop. which used a projector light cast up on the wall at the back of someones house. We would watch animals and farmers ploughing fuelds. That was the best entertainment.

Very real. And prior to that At 10pm before the news started they would broadcast “it’s 10pm do you know where your children are?”

Too true! It wasn’t till the invention of cable television that 24 hour TV came into existence. That happened in the late 70s.

That was only yesterday. The only " old days" that you could be referring to are the 40's, 50's and early 60's. Then came the shiny brand new years....the 70's and 80's and that's the time when the tv's would sign off for the night ending with the National Anthem and a Bald Eagle flying majestically over mountains and lakes.... Good lord... the old days 🙄

100% true. We only had a few channels and most of them shut off at midnight. Crazy times. As Gen X we lived through so many technological changes. What a great time to have been alive!
