A populous is one of the roughest roller coasters I have ever been on. I feel like I just got my ass kicked not to mention I may need new teeth, but it is a joy to look at other people ride.

Cyclone was great. We had Collosus as an old school "giant" and Psyclone was smaller but wilder. Great complimentary coasters at the time.

I absolutely love this ride. Even better when you sit in the very back on the left side it's like a rocket ship is flying through the sky.

If I remember correctly they used the Psyclone trains on colossus when they ran it backwards.

The first time I ever went to six flags I was able to ride psyclone, I was young but don’t remember it being that bumpy

worked at apocalypse for about a year and it was just a fun ride to be at, to ride, nothing ever too chaotic happened. had some awesome memories at this ride!

When you'd leave the station on Psyc in the early aughts the operator at the board would hold up a big bolt and say "this fell off today" and then hit the button. I stg the last car on the train wasn't fully attached either.

They used to run Psyclones cars backwards for Fright Fest. It actually rode a little smoother

well originally the name was terminator salvation the ride.....then it got renamed to apocalypse bc the exp of the license..

I was on apocalypse a few months ago for my senior night, apparently there was also a school of completely deaf people and I was the only person who could hear on that ride, the only person screaming, and someone tried to get one of the deaf girls to give me her number, it was a hard no from her, definitely a ride I will not forget

psyclone was really good when it opened. one of the coolest sounding wooden coasters ever and it was a good ride early on. it was the best wooden roller coaster I had ever been on at the time.(1991 and then 1992ish). and I say this with original Colossus being at the same park. Colossus was also a very fun coaster but the rides were very different.

Omg Psyclone was the bumpiest coaster I’ve ever rode. I was actually scared it would fly off the track but glad I rode it before they demolished.
