Comments said dc is sketchy … it’s absolutely not. You’ll be fine where ever! The rats are taking over dc tho, Arlington (also have views of dc) would be your next best bet but nothing wrong with dc. I prefer Adam Morgan’s, Georgetown, Columbia heights. If you want night life go to navy yard

Check out Rosalyn, Arlington, crystal city pentagon city, I’m DC check out buzzard point new apartments there but it’s close to navy yard and Audi field

I lived in a lot of areas throughout the dmv area, the choice is yours but I honestly wouldn't recommend living in the dmv areas. I am talking from personal experience but I believe you should look into another state that is not these 3. I plan on leaving the dmv areas all together just not the move staying here within these 3 states

I highly recommend touring apartments in Arlington, VA! There are so many next to the metro. Look at buildings near the Ballston or Clarendon metro stations. Both are walkable and social neighborhoods. Welcome!
