Great white sharks are afraid of orcas. I wonder if there have been any other predators of sharks during the whole dinosaur era. If you showed a shark a picture of its past predator would it flip out and swim away?

This is one of those *absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" circumstances. It is fair to say that *Wildfires* began 430M years ago. That is when there was enough carbon to create forests and the fire left evidence. But oxygen and methane have existed on earth for 3BN years. That fire would have burned in the atmosphere and left no trace. It is accurate to say that we don't have evidence of that fire, but it is not accurate to say that the fire didn't exist. It's unreasonable to believe that it didn't exist.
