@clinmistry: Never lose yourself trying to prove your love to someone who refuses to see your worth. Love should never require you to abandon your dreams, sacrifice your peace, or silence the parts of yourself that make you who you are. Don't give up on your ambitions to make a man comfortable. The right partner will celebrate your growth, support your dreams, and encourage you to become the person you want to be. Never confuse financial sacrifice with love. Supporting someone through hard times is beautiful when it's mutual, but constantly carrying someone who refuses to show up isn't your responsibility. Love should be a partnership, not a one-sided burden. Never beg for basic respect, compete for attention, or silence your voice to avoid conflict. You deserve to be heard, understood, and treated with kindness. The right person won't make you feel like you're asking for too much. Never shrink yourself to protect someone's ego. Your strength isn't a threat to the right partner, and your independence isn't something to fear. Healthy love gives both people room to grow. Don't ignore repeated red flags just because you're attached to someone's potential. Real change requires accountability, consistent effort, and action—not just promises. You don't need to explain your worth to someone committed to misunderstanding it. Never settle for half-hearted love, mixed signals, or affection that appears only when it's convenient. Real love is honest, steady, respectful, and intentional. Most importantly, never lose yourself trying to keep someone who makes you feel like being yourself isn't enough. If you must constantly change who you are to earn love, you're abandoning the person who deserves your love the most: YOU. The right relationship won't cost you your self-respect. It will protect it. It won't ask you to become smaller; it will give you space to become more of yourself. Remember: You can love someone deeply and still choose yourself. You can miss someone and still walk away. Choosing yourself doesn't mean you don't know how to love—it means you've learned that love should never require you to lose yourself. #SelfRespect #HealthyRelationships #KnowYourWorth #LoveYourself

He decided that he didn’t need to work and spent too much time in the barn smoking and being on his phone. After 2 years of marriage, I replaced him with a corvette. The corvette treats me better.

11. Never be his mommy or his ex’s daycare. You are not responsible for keeping track of his dental appointments, mom’s birthday, where his keys are, if where the forks are, if he has clean socks, etc. It isn’t your responsibility to buy the presents. If he has partial custody of kids from a former relationship, you are not required to care for them while he sits there gaming or goes out with his buds.
