@thecat.reporster: Sylvester Stallone Recalls Working With Dolly Parton on Rhinestone and the Detail About Her Crew That Stuck With Him Sylvester Stallone is remembering what it was like to work with Dolly Parton. In an Entertainment Tonight interview on Saturday, Oct. 24, the Rocky actor, 80, talked about making the 1984 musical rom-com Rhinestone. Parton d*ed on Aug. 25 at 80. Stallone said his agents “went nuts” when they learned about the project. “They said, ‘Jesus, what a career killer.’ I go, ‘So be it,’” he recalled. He wanted to work with Parton. “She’s a one-off,” he said. “That’s what you call a real icon.” He said she “never stopped literally laughing.” But he also noticed something else. “She would also go around and knew the name of every crew member.” Stallone also shared a “crazy story” from filming in Tennessee. During time off, the cast visited a horse farm that bred Tennessee Walking Horses. The owner told Stallone to ride his “favorite gray stallion,” with Parton on behind him. Stallone said he has “ridden horses all [his] life,” but this horse was huge. “It’s like riding a building,” he said. Then, he said, the horse tripped. “We are falling,” he told her. Both landed in the grass. Stallone said Parton got up laughing. “Let’s do that again,” he recalled her saying. His reply, he said, was, “Of course… I was just waiting for you to ask.” What’s your favorite Dolly Parton memory? #Event #DollyParton #Rhinestone #Rock #Hollywood
