@lavinia.nagaiyah: Every Deepavali, I feel like good food makes the celebration even more special! And Nei Soru is definitely one of my favourites. The smell of ghee, the fragrant spices, and those golden cashews… honestly, I can never get enough! It’s simple, comforting, and tastes even better when shared with family. If you’re planning your Deepavali menu, you’ve got to try this recipe! Save it, try it, and let me know how it turns out! 🪔✨ Ingredients: • 2 cups basmati rice (wash and soak for 30 minutes) • 3 tbsp ghee • 3 tbsp oil • Whole spices, as needed • 1 onion, sliced • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • 10 cashew nuts • 2 stalks lemongrass • ½ carrot, chopped • Curry leaves, as needed • 3 cups water • 1 cup evaporated milk Cooking Method: Add all the ingredients into the rice cooker, mix well, and press the Cook button until the rice is fully cooked. #lavasspicykitchen #neisoru #indianfood #EasyRecipe #tiktokchef
