Thank you. It’s the dream’s owners fault. The had gateway scheduled for this all season. They had 6+ months to find an alternative but I’m guessing part of it was just expecting it wasn’t a problem they’d have to deal with…but even then why figure this out last week when they moved games 3&4 around?? Just a horrible lack of planning and terrible decision in the end.

That’s not true. As soon as the playoff schedule was released, they reached out about scheduling conflicts. The league didn’t think it would actually happen, so they just let it go

This isnt just the final. The Dream have been doing this the whole way thru play offs. each time the get to a round its a frantic scramble to find a venue! Their front office has made no effort to plan ANYTHING until literally the games about to start!!!

I actually think it would be so cool to see them play at their actual arena. It’s not an issue in college basketball when teams play at smaller arenas, it’s literally so cool.

Seriously doesn’t matter what time the game is the people who are gonna watch are gonna watch. It’s not like half Of America still works from 9 to 5. If it was the Super Bowl at noon, people would takeoff work if they wanted to watch it. If it was the World Series at noon, people would takeoff to work if they wanted to watch it. Chill out calm down it’s one game. Very few people watch it anyway that’s the reason why they didn’t get prime time.

I’m not trying to hate but I agree they never had a plan. If they already knew if they made the WNBA finals they wanted to play at the hawks arena they should have been working on a plan with the hawks and NBA but they didn’t 😂. They probably just expected the Hawks and the NBA to automatically work their home schedule around the WNBA finals last second.
