@donaldjackson6342: Patrick Mahomes Has a Career-Worst Night as Seahawks Beat Chiefs 20-3 in Primetime Patrick Mahomes just had one of the toughest games of his career. On Sunday, Oct. 25, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 20-3. It was the Chiefs’ first loss of the season. Mahomes, 31, went 19 for 33 for 165 yards and an interception. The Chiefs were missing wide receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, which limited his options. Then came the numbers. For the first time in the Mahomes era, Kansas City never got inside the red zone. The team finished with 213 total yards, the lowest in a regular-season game with Mahomes at quarterback. It was also the first time in the Andy Reid era that the Chiefs had no explosive play. That means no 10-yard run and no 20-yard pass. Travis Kelce finished with four catches for 44 yards. Even Sunday Night Football analyst Cris Collinsworth noticed. “That’s the second time I’ve seen that look on Patrick Mahomes’s face,” he said. Mahomes did not dodge it. “You got your tail kicked,” he said. He added that the offense did not execute, especially around midfield. He also pointed to his own play. He said his feet were “getting me into trouble” early, when he could have sat in the pocket and made throws down the field. “That’s obviously a really good defense,” he said. The Chiefs return on Sunday, Nov. 1, against the Denver Broncos. How do you think the Chiefs will bounce back? #PatrickMahomes #KansasCityChiefs #SeattleSeahawks #NFL #Sunday
